Biography

As a certified child life specialist, my career has been focused on helping children cope with the stress of illness, injury, disability and hospitalization. Over the past twenty years, I have worked with children and teens in many different healthcare settings including emergency care, intensive care, and outpatient settings. The current focus of my work is with families affected by cancer, including children who are diagnosed with cancer, as well as children and teens who have a parent affected by the disease.
