Biography

Lauren Eales is a predoctoral intern (in her last year of her PhD training) interested in better understanding the influences of screen media and the larger global media landscape in mental health development. She is also interested in how media and parental media mediation influence healthy and unhealthy White racial identity development. Her advisor is Dr. Gail Ferguson and she is completing her doctoral internship at the University of Minnesota Medical School.

Developmental psychopathology and clinical science community/clinical work

My clinical training has focused on targeting trauma and internalizing disorders in children, adolescents, and young adults. I have training in TF-CBT, DBT, CBT, and more.
