Biography

Carolyn Lasch is a 4th year Ph.D. student in the Developmental Psychopathology and Clinical Science track working primarily with Jed Elison. She is interested in the role of caregivers and family in the development of social attention and cognition, and specifically how infants learn about what to expect their environment. Her research focuses on mother-infant dyads and attentional bias, utilizes MRI, eye-tracking, and behavioral assessments.

Interests: Cognitive development, developmental psychopathology, infancy, parent-child relationships 

Developmental psychopathology and clinical science community/clinical work

Carolyn's clinical experiences have included pediatric neurologic assessment training in UMN Fairview's Psychiatry Department, clinical interviewing with adolescent populations with depression and self-injuring behaviors, and developmental assessments with infants and toddlers. Her current practicum experiences include individual therapy with young children at UMN Physicians' Behavioral Health Clinic for Families, and neurologic assessment and therapy at Gillette Children's Hospital.
