Biography

At ICD, study early language development and resting state functional connectivity in infants and toddlers through the Baby Connectome Project with Dr. Jed Elison and Dr. Damien Fair. Much of my language work uses the MacArthur-Bates Communicative Development Inventories. I was awarded an NSF Graduate Research Fellowship in 2020.

I am a Seattle native who earned a degree in linguistics at the University of Washington, where I spent time in the Integrated Brain Imaging Center under Dr. Tara Madhyastha, primarily studying resting-state functional connectivity in Parkinson’s disease and developing fMRI pipelines and analyses. I also worked for Dr. Lee Osterhout, using electroencephalography to study English verbal processing in first-language speakers of Mandarin.
