Ekomobong Eyoh is a  Ph.D. student on the Developmental Psychopathology and Clinical Science track at the Institute of Child Development (ICD). She has two lines of work focused on (1) social emotional development across the normative to atypical spectrum and (2) parsing heterogeneity in psychopathology and neurodevelopmental disorder symptom presentations to improve the clinical characterization of mental functioning in youth. At the University of Minnesota, she works with Drs. Jed Elison and Damien Fair. Ekom received her B.E. in Biomedical Engineering and Neuroscience from Vanderbilt University in 2016 and her M.P.H. from the University of Miami in 2019.  She then worked at LASR, the lab directed by Dr. Carissa Cascio at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where she studied sensory processing differences in autism.
